Looks like we have some interesting Code Geass news coming up in Newtype 11 which comes out next month, October 10th.

I think and hope, it is a new series, since in the official blog, for two times, the person wrote about someone going in the Bandai studios (or something like this, sorry, but I read it through google translator) and it was really weird since Special Edition Zero Requiem has ended.

I was wondering about this.

First, I noticed Tetsu Shiratori (Lloyd's seiyuu) randomly talking about Lloyd on his blog a few weeks ago. I was, like, "Geass has ended for some time, now. Why is he talking about Lloyd, all of a sudden?".

Later on that evening, I saw the first blog entry on the Code Geass website. A few weeks later, another one was made.

In short, this could be a very interesting development~!

if anything is going to be made then most likely it will be an OVA
no new content merely the entire series cramped in a couple OVA episodes with all the nonsense cut out of it

they did it with Gundam Seed, Seed Destiny, Gurren Lagann.. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to milk Code Geass a little more *hint most of them came from Sunrise.. they are known for this milking*

I've been saying, I don't know why they can't do a new anime/an OAV/a movie. They have plenty of material. Yeah, they can't exactly do R3 or anything if they did R3 it would probably be lame, but they have like SIX DIFFERENT AU MANGA STORIES NOW, why can't they make an AU story in animated format?
