There are a lot of rumors going around the intertubes about the "actual" R2...maybe they'll do something similar to FMA: Brotherhood and just negate what happened in R2 and do the "original" plotline?




I wouldn't mind too much if they told us what was up with Suzaku and why he has Coordinator-like abilities. He's secretly Kira and Asran's love child.

The problem with that, though, is that FMA:B went and redid all of the series, not just the anime-only stuff - and I can't imagine how people would react to a reboot of the first season of Geass.

That and the fact that going by the interviews I read, Zero Requiem was always intended to be the final ending, it's just the stuff leading up to it that changed - and I can't imagine redoing a series with the same start and finish but different middle.

Well, I more or so meant that they would do a reboot, but I imagine if that's the plan, they'll just redo R2 and finish it with Zero Requiem anyway.



And I can totally imagine them doing that, if they think it'll make them money, which it will.


Though it most likely will be either a sequel AU or totally new Gundam-esque franchise thingy. I kinda want a sequel if no reboot, though. Angsty Zerozaku plz.

I really can't see them going to all that effort for something that will be half the same, even if I want to see the dropped plotlines.

Which basically means I agree that if anything happens it'll be a sequel/AU/new character thing. (I am all for Zerozaku, 'cos I love the poor guy, but I don't want Lelouch back in that context. Dead or alive, coming back defeats the purpose of his big sacrifice)

Code Geass without lulu = NOT Code Geass. Because ok, Lelouch made the show pretty much. He built it and broke-finished it with "guilty" hands as the song says. I'd love an AU story or a school story about Ashford. Like a what-happened-when-Lelouch-wasn't-off-fighting. Something goofy. I doubt we'd get that, but I can wish :-D

I miss having my CG to look forward to every week, so I'd have to say DO WANT, but as much as a desperate fangirl as I am, Lelouch's story is over and best left be.

If a new season ends up existing, no matter the form it takes, I'll watch it. Buuuut if there is no new season, I won't feel crushed. Yanno? And honestly, if there is a new season, who could blame Sunrise for wanting to make some more money off of Code Geass? I'm pretty sure most fans would end up watching a third season because it's Code Geass and they either a) want more of CG to love, b) are skeptical on whether a third season could possibly stand up to the first two but can't pass proper judgment on it unless they watch or c) have nothing else to watch so they might as well stick to something they sort of know.
