Ooh, I've never seen that "So They Say" one before. I've seen ones for Slipping and Brand New Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JM1_LdQwTE) as well (unfortunately, the Slipping one is gone...and it was such a perfect song for Zero). Also a cracktastic one for Bad Horse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lfw32nxb_p8). It just makes the perfect mash-up.

I'm glad you liked it! I think the characters and situations are surprisingly close between the two stories.

Also doesn't Lelouch even say something about burning the world so that a new one can rise from its ashes or something? Part of his Zero, Destroyer and Creator of Worlds bit?

Also I adore that Slipping video (can't really watch it because it makes me sad, but I adore it nonetheless) although even though it's set during the Emperor arc, I really think of Slipping as more Lelouch's song about what happened with using Euphemia's death to propel himself forward rather than his phony reign of terror.

If he does, please inform me. Or maybe one of these days I should just watch through the entirely of Code Geass again.

I agree with you on Slipping, especially because if you parallel Lelouch and Dr Horrible's character development (which works scarily well, actually). The entirety of R2 is basically act three of Dr Horrible drawn out (with the twist at the end being that Lelouch actually didn't gain power at the price of everything he loved).

I wanna say it's end of R1 and/or beginning of R2 (I know that when he comes back in R2 he says that he is Zero, the man who destroys and creates worlds, but I don't remember whether he mentions the world burning). I remember him saying it but it could be a false memory.
