The official site has updated....with new products. While we still don't have the USB drives we dream of, alas, we are now able to dress in LelouchFashion(TM) without bothering with all the cosplay creation schiz. Among other things. Perfectly official.

There are three sections here : Apparel, Accessory and Other Stuff.

Here is the Apparel section, consisting of that very familiar red jacket, T-shirts featuring prints of Lulu and Suza (Black & Blue), and school uniforms for your wearing pleasure.

In the Accessory page lies the Lancelot key pendant, another pendant bearing the Geass mark, carrying bags with Ashford and military symbols and wristbands with Ashford and Geass marks.

The Others section is easily explained. It's a set of posters, samples of which can be found in page yonder.

It's probably a little sad of me to say I want that jacket. *sigh* Everyone can now attain Lulu's pimphood! If you're in Japan, don't forget to impress your girlfriend with the pimp jacket!

But his sleeves? It hangs. It flutters. It's EXTREMELY REFLECTIVE. Plus, it doesn't show his, er, assets. That's not spandex!1 (Or maybe spandex in the Geass world has plastic qualities. Probably hot as hell under there, though)

I think they're also trying to keep a consistent color theme. So Lelouch's most often seen in white as a kid, and black as a teenager. And he has that white shirt + red cape/jacket design in the MarianneKilling/EvilDaddy scene, so they get rid of the white. Sad.

Hmm, I like the attention to detail in that explanation though. I never even noticed it. Very Sixth Sense in a way. How would his white shirt (minus his uniform jacket) fit into this if at all. He was wearing it when he was deciding how to handle Euphemia in 22.

The white shirt is part of his uniform? When he casualwears, he just goes for a turtleneck black. Just the way uniforms works in Japan and they seem to emulate that...

However, if you want to read it as a symbol, it works : Lelouch's 'white' self (a symbol of his childhood self?) is not really completely gone. It's just hidden behind that black form he 'must' wear. (Being a uniform and all, a symbol of the self he puts forward?) But he's shown in his white shirt when planning something he's not quite honest about (5, 9, 22), which indicates his reluctance to give in to either side.

*nod* I would buy the tote bag with Suzaku on. Tote bags are good merchandise for they are very useful. :) I saw that Geass eye pendant before, on Animate's site, but the Code Geass site's picture is much better and makes it look a lot more handsome. However, Animate have the greatest Code Geass TShirt ever; it has an orange on it! XD

I can see I will be spending money on stuff come the summer hols. XD
