Well...Clovis seemed to certainly think Lelouch was dead, and probably Nanaly too; so none of the other Princes or Princesses may even be aware they're still alive to be concerned about. Whatever faction is looking after them must have smuggled the children away pretty fast, I guess; you wonder if the Emperor knows the fate of his children or if he just believes they're dead too.
