Just wanted to post a little heads-up : The first track of Sound Episode 4 - 'Stage 6.113 : Ou no Namae' is up for listening. You can find the link at the
official site...as to what it is about...let's say it's 6.113, shall we? Nice trick, Sunrise!
Also, thanks to screenshots posted on
TrueGaming.net, we have a bit more information on what Famitsu said about the Geass DS game. Paraphrasing from my own journal :
- As already shown on the game's official site, the game will be divided into three parts. The adventure part, where there is little actual adventuring in the western gaming sense, but is where the story events take place, and also party reshuffling and mission briefing. No word on how much freedom you'll have. Then there is the Map Exploration part, where you either play as Lelouch and solve events, or play as the OoBK and follow his orders. Famitsu proposed that making the wrong choices as Lelouch may lead to a HP reduction. Finally the battle part, which is encounter-based. ENCOUNTER-BASED. Blargh.
I wanted a strat-RPG. ;_;- You can choose among a number of Geass commands, four in the screenshots, and each command will lead to different results. No word on whether each result would backfire on you differently. (I hope it will, programming nightmare as it is. Decisions backfiring on the decision maker is one of the pinnacles of Code Geass) Also, in case you don't want to shout "Commit suicide!" on the train, it responds to touchpen.
- Voice recognition also works in battles. By shouting names, you can make combos. Zero's stats also look appropriately wimpy.
- Should you, as the OoBK, decide to frustrate Zero/Lelouch for the fun of it and not follow his orders, you can. You'll just run into more enemies than usual, though you'll also find items.
