Premise: [AU] Lelouch was born several decades prior and took C.C.'s Code at 18. In present time, he runs into Suzaku and is intrigued by a number of things, one of which is the latter's potential to receive Geass. Keyword being potential.
Stage 09: The words died in his throat when he smelled it – cigarette smoke, from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at once. And all that his mind could come up with in response, as his lips and the rest of his body froze and locked-down in fear, was gods, not again. (links to ff.net)
