I'm glad to be of some help. :D I know very well how sucky having an old and bitter computer is like. (Ah, the days when technical kung-fu is wringing that last byte of memory out of your computer...)
.mkv is a relatively new file format, I think? I use WinXP and I still have to update my codecs all the time to keep the sound-visual synchronization up correctly. Needless to say, I don't like the format. ^^;
At least you have Memento (http://www.designchronicle.com/memento/) to go with the RAWs? And the script here for Ep.6, if you think it's good enough.
