Well by now, we've all (if not most of us,) been shocked, hurt, dismayed, and utterly confused by the eps 24 and 25 special. I have my own thoughts and opinions on the matter of who actually 'won' and 'lost' that little scuffle (for those who know what I mean, think about the consequences of each person LOSING, watch and think about the last few minutes very carefully, and you should be able to figure out who COULDN'T HAVE lost, and who really did lose.)[Poll #1031662]

If we're talking about the series ending, then I would choose the "continue on its current wave" answer because there is simply way too much stuff that needs resolution for this series to end in 25 episodes. It would be a bad, bad ending if they tried it. I'm glad they didn't.

And I think ending the show with both Lelouch and Suzaku (and Karen) aware who the other was with guns pointing at each other was the perfect way to end the first season. It just made me anticipate the next season even more. My only complaint is I wish Sunrise would have told us when the second season was starting.

I wouldn't have minded.... IF the second season was to premiere let's say... one month from now. However, as far as I know, the air date hasn't even been announced. It ruins the hype! Oh! And to make things worse, I'm betting that the first episode will be... A RECAP! -_-

I think they'll let people suffer for a while. Gundam 00 is starting soon. Where Gundam goes, so goes their pimping, whoring and leeching from fans.

As it stands though, the idea of a second season makes me squee and I'm pretty damn content with the way it ended.
Neatly tied up anime is so over-rated =P

just that they had a cliff hanger and then made us wait three months just to have ANOTHER cliffhanger XP
I would have prefered them show ep 24 & 25 right after 23. and left us to wait for the next season
