I like happy endings too, but with Mai-HIME it was like "You made all that hype and drama over everyone dieing, and then they all just ended up being ok anyway..." Like once your mind has been raped with WTFness a happy ending like that just kind of mess with you more i think.
It would be like if at the end of Battle Royal, they were all like "Phyc! You didn't really kill off all your classmates. it was all a big joke. HaHa! now let's all go out for ice cream. and they all run off into the sunset...
It's *blink blink* Okaaay WTF, not Dude! That's so not cool! WTF
What other anime has sunrise done? I don't really pay attention to what companies put out which anime...
For this anime, I really hope it turns out happy...but I have a hard time thinking it will turn out happy and good for everyone the way it did with Mai-HIME
It would be nice if something like my ending happen ^^
