Where it says registration I've inputted the URL of my journal. Clicked the button and it gave me the JavaScript code for the cheese-kun image.
Now this is where I think it has something to do with LJ and if it allows JavaScript in your journal. I tried playing with my layout and tried adding an entry with the code but that didn't work for me. So I added the code to a blank page and uploaded and that worked. So yeah it sort of works ^^;
I have no idea how Cheese-kun is suppose to grow XD (can't read Japanese -_-)
