As in, while England gobbles up territories like no tomorrow and everyone else ends up losing territory, the French could probably figure it's better to wise up and join in a coalition against imperialism, hence the EEU.
This comment is having me think in circles since in both WWI and WWII, Britain and France are allies... @_@ Also the possibility of having more wars over the colonies then they actually did. Maybe that's how the World Wars started, too many offensive acts by Britain in the colonies. They do have to take over Central America and possiblly South America eventually.
WWII, though...considering the Japanese still seemed to have a military and still carried katanas in the army, I wondered if it ever happened. Or if it did...it might be confined to the European theater.
Good point. Maybe they didn't try to take over Korea and China, or failed to. Or they didn't attack Pearl Harbor. Or maybe they started one again? There must've been signs of war before Britannia attacked.
