Yes, curious indeed. And the EEU would be the closest thing to Britannia that it can gobble up. Unless they have reached some kind of truce with Britannia. And like you said, EEU can be doing their own gobbling up. We know for sure that Britannia owns 1/3 of the world, but do we know that EEU and China Federation own the rest of the 2/3? From the emperor's speech, those two seem to be the biggest competitors against Britannia, but are we perhaps, overestimating their power? Are they hopeless to protest against Britannia?
Lulu's chess genius could actually have been a common occurrence, so that he didn't have much intrinsic value at all.
Maybe. I mean if Clovis was his only chess partner, then even if the emperor knew about his wins, they were not all that impressive. XD
