Hey guys, I've just hopped onto the Code Geass fanwagon, but I have a couple of questions.
One being: What are the het ships for this fandom? Just kinda wonderin'.
Two under the cut, for spoilery reasons.
Why is Karen so upset that Zero is Lelouch? Because he's Britannian? Because she thinks he used her? I was a little confused. Forgive me if this is a dumb question.

As for the second question, there's a few reasons, I think. Kallen sees Britanians as the enemy inherently, as the people who are subjugating her people. To find out that the leader she was completely devoted to was the enemy... she has no real way, after all, of knowing that he's for real about all this.
From her perspective, she probably can't even fathom why what appears to be a normal, average Britannian kid would be a Black Knight. Sure, she appears the same way to someone else as well, but people rarely think so rationally with that sort of thing - after all, she knows her own reasons. But since she has no idea about Lelouch's backstory, to her, he's just some lazy kid. Likely she's not sure if it was just a game, or if he's a spy, or what. And she dislikes Lelouch personally on top of it - from what I know, she sees him as a decadent, spoiled Britannian. It's even worse than if he was just some Britannian stranger, really.
The Japanese who support Zero see Zero as their champion - learning that the guy they thought was their hero is actually from the country of their enemy is a huge morale blow, the way I see it. I mean, if your saviour isn't even one of your own people... that's pretty demoralizing to a people who are trying very hard to cling to their identity.

CG is a fun series to 'ship ^_^ I can't choose one OTP (though I love Lulu and C.C. together ...).

Lulu-Nunally is a popular platonic (mostly) couple.

As for your question about Kallen, we have to keep a few things in mind. First of all, we only got to see the first immediate few seconds of her reaction. There was no time to adjust or to think things through. All she had time to think was "WTF?" Now. I think she's mad at herself more than anything else. At one time, she had Lelouch pegged as Zero. She was almost certain of it. But then, he outright deceived her. Not only would she be mad that he deliberately misled her--one of his most trusted subordinates--but she would also be mad that she was so close and yet let him go.
I don't think that she was shocked that it was a Britannian. Zero made no secret that he wasn't an Eleven. She was simply shocked that it was Lelouch all along. She may be shocked that half the frickin' student council were intimately involved in the rebellion. She might be shocked that these two best friends were major actors fighting on opposite sides. She might be shocked that Lelouch and Suzaku had both gone through school normally, knowing (or highly suspecting) that they were meeting each other on the field of battle. But I think that, more than anything, she was just stunned to realize that everything was under her nose the entire time.
Imagine how she'll react when she finds out all three of Lelouch's identities:
1) Lelouch Lamperouge, cocky Brittanian student,
2) Lelouch vi Britannia, exiled Prince of Britannia, and
3) Zero, leader of the rebellion.
As it stands, a bunch of people know of two of Lelouch's identities (Kallen, Shirley, Milly, etc.). However, among the non-supernatural types, only Lelouch and Suzaku are aware of all three of his identities. It'll be interesting to see how this is handled in the second season.
