I think watching Lelouch's eyes in that scene is a thing of beauty. The anger is almost always directed at Charles. It reminded me of his reaction when the mobster mentions the Emperor in front of him in Turn 1, and Rollo goes >_<
You know, that also got me thinking: well, what if that was not the first time Lelouch gets his memories re-written? If Charles has this power, anything goes in terms of plot. No fact is a real fact, and even Lelouch's childhood memories might be relative. Fascinating stuff.
