Ok now that I'm sure this isn't my RP account... I'm going to poke a little at your Suzaku analysis. I think it's a little slanted too heavily to one side, given we haven't seen enough to make that strong of claims. The last paragraph especially. Suzaku didn't demand, he asked, he even apologized for his rudeness to the Emperor. And I argue against Suzaku being cold in that scene, angry no doubt, but again I see it more as thoroughly and wholly detached. You can hear it in his voice when he does his "Yes, your majesty" thing and when he tells Lelouch he won't let him use his geass. There is a very subtle difference between cold and detached but it's worth noting. I don't get the same viciousness in that scene as was present in the the cave; Suzaku is thinking now. And to think, you need to mentally remove yourself from the equation so yes detached. But that thought process is also merged with very very deep anger.
That said, most of your second paragraph, I agree with. There was much vengeance in play and the "Screw it. I'm here, might as well use it" is very much ore!Suzaku style. So it's a new take on the shift between the rage to the plan. Still, I'm not sure Lelouch actually asked Suzaku a question, and I doubt they will go back to the cave scene a third time. I think Lelouch's query is an overall thing. "Is this Suzaku's path?" more or less.
