So its official that the distribution of episode 3 on the internet was a MISTAKE, and not a crime done by a staff member (from Code Geass site -and many thanks for aoi_rein and akeno_yuki for mentioning it >w<)>

Episode 3 will be aired as planned, with no revision done.

明日の緊急会議で３話の放送中止が決まります。
今後の対応は４話を繰り上げて放送するか、２週間放送中止して流出した３
話を一部作り直して放送するかを決める。
監督を含め全キャスト・スタッフに通達されました

Just a few minutes ago, one of the staff members was arrested.

At the emergency meeting tomorrow, the stopping of the airing of episode 3 will be determined and announced.
From here, we may air the story planned for episode 4 earlier (skip episode 3), or not air anything for 2 weeks and then air a revised version of the leaked episode 3; we will decide that tomorrow.
This has been informed to all cast and staff, including the director.

They're not really punishing us... its just that because it was leaked, they feel like (MAY BE) changing it ... not direct punishment for us. It's just that we take it as some punishment so don't talk too much crap about Sunrise please TwT;; it's not their fault. I mean, even if it was some other company, I'm sure they would consider such actions TwT
Sunrise has all rights to take its actions.

Though I'd prefer the two week wait for episode three rather than a mismash of that and episode four, an entire rewrite in two weeks sounds downright frightening.

I hope the studio chills a little too, since honestly. Age of piracy, some things are going to leak. It's not worth compromising the continuity (?!) of the plot for a surprise!!1! but shoddy redo.

My personal opinion is that no, it shouldn't be such a huge deal, but the studio loves its surprises and twists. Even if, you know. People usually manage to find out about them a few episodes in advance anyway.

Oh, Sunrise has eyes everywhere. So it was a pretty stupid decision to try leaking it—I just wish they wouldn't punish the entire fandom for it. I, for one, was perfectly content to wait until Sunday.

Personally, since I did grow up in the 'an episode per week' thing since I was kid for anime and drama and like... anything.
Waiting a week, is no pain.
Two weeks, I'll complain here and there, but I don't mind. As long as the show's not canceled. I mean. I waited an year since episode 23 (even though there was epi 24 and 25 in between) but it doesn't change much. I'm still waiting for Haruhi, so I don't mind about the wait. All I'm concerned about is if they're going to change the whole story. I just want them to stick to whatever they had in the beginning, and not being swayed around with one leak. I mean, sunrise does have eyes everywhere like you said, but just because of this one time, they shouldn't be so paranoid. It's not like they're going to loose listeners, at least not me. Since I'm the type that doesn't mind spoilers, this leak just got me even more interested, rather than pissed.
