Shirley of the vanishing skirt

I can't be the only one who noticed this in R2 episode 3.




Shirley's not wearing a skirt in this shot! Someone forgot to draw it in! You see her underwear and what's even more funny you see Milly standing right next to her in a skirt. Also, since it's a scene from the first season does anyone know if it's a frame they lifted from season one's footage and if she's not wearing a skirt in the original scene or did they redraw this scene from scratch for season 2? Either way, it's a pretty hilarious mistake.

Edit: Ah I see, I couldn't remember when those clips were from. It was just really weird watching them flash by in the episode and having to do a double take when I suddenly see her without a skirt.

yeah it's Shirley in her bathing suit, for the way that Kallen is i presume that it can be her jacket that Shirley's wearing..

That's episode 6. Shirley has her uniform jacket over her bathing suit, she just came from the swimming club I think. This episode was one of the few Nunnally had a staring role so that's probably why they chose these scenes to flashback with even though it may be confusing.

Shirley was with the swim team, diving, when Milly made the announcement. Kallen bumps into her wearing just a bathing suit and comments about how... inappropriate it is, to which Shirley says their kisses are at stake so she hadn't thought about it.

After that, Shirley must have snatched herself just a coat to put over it, which I noticed when re-watching the episode a few days ago is made apparent when you see her in the coat without an undershirt 'n' tie 'n' stuff.

So it's not an artist forgetting to put it in. It's the writers being accurate about the time it would have taken to change out of a bathing suit and into the full uniform and deciding her character wouldn't have wasted that time.
