I think the dub sounds pretty good from those clips. But Johnny Yong Bosch definitely doesn't give off the same level of command in his voice as Jun Fukuyama that's for sure.

I don't think it's bad. I like Johnny Yong Bosch, but it's difficult not to imagine Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss when I hear his voice. I kind of like Suzaku's voice, to be honest the only one I cannot stand is Lloyd's, and that's just because it sounds like Liam O'Brien's Dist (from TotA again) voice, and I despised it there as well. I generally like his voice work, though.

Actually, I just wish there'd be some fresh voice actors, because right now I just hear the same voices over and over. Just Lelouch and Suzaku's voice actors are pretty much in every damn thing out there right now. Not to say they're bad, because they aren't, I just wish there was a bit more variety.

Suzaku's VA is definitely growing on me. I thought he did a pretty good job.

Lelouch's could still use some work. He still doesn't sound suave/sophisticated/fabulous enough. "Now, all of you...DIE!", I thought was carried through pretty damn well, though. A bit different from what I'm used to in the Japanese version (the dub sounded more evil than imperious), but still effective. I'll be anxious to hear more of his Zero voice.

LLOYD! WHAT DID THEY DO TO LLOYD?! Why is it that dubbers equate "creepy" or "odd" with "British"?

Yeah, I'm kinda iffy on Lloyd, I liked how he had a kinda of British accent since he's a... Count/Duke? I forget what... but I kinda... thought his voice would sound more... "gross". Definitely not the correct term to use but it would've been nice if it was an over exaggerated slightly higher pitched...

On the note of him being British, shouldn't they technically ALL have British accents because they all (at some point in history) came from Britain? Whenever I read the manga, I always imaged them all with fabulous British accents.

Not a fan of Cecile. Lloyd could be very interesting. I like Suzaku's VA, and Lelouch is slowly growing on me. It can't compare to the Japanese dub, but honestly, I'm impressed so far. :b Looking forward to the full dubbed episode this weekend.

I know, what you mean, I love how his voice drops down to almost a whisper before the last word. Sent chills down my spine. Now needs more sexy and it could work.

I really dig Suzaku's voice for whatever reason. I guess it's because I figured he'd sound like that in the dub, so I'm not disappointed.

Johnny as Lelouch still kinda bothers me, but I'm sure after a few episodes I'll be used to it and wont notice anymore. I just don't tend to like Johnny regardless -- and meeting him in person just made me want to punch him in the throat (though that had less to do with him being a voice actor and more to do with him being a douche).

Lloyd's voice is awesome, but it totally ruins crack!Lloyd for me. :( Cecile's voice is spot-on though.

I'm usually the first to piss and moan about dubs, so what I say next is a huge compliment LOL. Suzie Q's VA isn't so bad. At least, it's very easily stomached, so I don't mind it.

WHATEVER. JYB, WHATEVER. Perhaps it's the rabid Fukuyama fangirl in me but... No. Just... no it sounds so bad. He doesn't have the correct kind of "commanding" voice Lulu does. idk I don't like it.
