I've heard him do the Vash laugh and stuff though, so we all know he can go WAAAAY UP THAR, just not the other way around.
The funniest thing is, I'm willing to bet FukuJun can go even higher. There's this shriek that he did as Watanuki in episode 4 of xxxHolic Kei and it damn near pierced my eardrums. >.>;; So I think if the voice director had been as insistent as Taniguchi, and made JYB push his limits as both an actor /and/ a voice actor, there may have been better results.
