R2 - Death List

Seeing as we're only on Turn 4 and they already started with the killing off of characters, (Poor Glaston Knights) I figured perhaps we might as well post our R2 death predictions.

Assuming this is the last season (While I think Lulu's constant "I can't do this forever"/"I will end this game" is a hint that this is the last season, I'd kind of like Geass to last a little bit longer. T.T) then here are my predictions:

Lelouch - 75% chance of dying. The 25% is if we get something like he lives while everyone else dies ending.
Suzaku - 50% - You just never know with this guy.
Rolo - 50% - Because I can't bear to give him a higher chance of death.
Nunnally - 25% - Just in case Sunrise decides to kill her off for great dramatic irony.
Kallen - 50% - I bet she would sacrifice herself for Lelouch at this point.
CC - 99.999% - Come on, you know her wish is really to die.
Li-kun (I think I'm going to start calling Xingke that now. :D) - 25% - This guy is far too smart to die easily.
Orange-kun - 25% - Sunrise loves messing with him
Viletta - 45% - Tragic ending with Ougi, anyone?
Ougi - 45% - Same as above
Cornelia - 20% - I really don't think she would die, but there IS a possibility
Schinezel - 15% - Given what we saw of him before, I think he knows who Zero is and why he's doing it. And also given that he BEAT Lulu at chess and also seems to not be that bad of a guy, I don't think he would die all that easily.
Shirley - 10% - Not unless it was some cheap trick to make Lulu sink into the depths of despair.

Hmm...anyone else important that I've forgotten? XD

I'm also in the camp of "C.C.'s wish isn't to die" ... but I can't put my finger on why, because it does seem reasonable enough. Then again, even if that is her wish, she and Lulu are undoubtedly going to get closer this season (romantically or not), so I think it's very probable that she'll find something to live for. Of course, she is kind of a tragic character already, so ... I can see her dying, I just prefer to think it won't happen -.-;

Rolo on the other hand ... I think he has a high probability of being sacrificed for Lulu's sake (maybe 75%). This would make me sad (T_T) since I love Rolo as a character, but it would also be effective in making Lulu rethink how he coldly used Rolo (or maybe not o.o). Of course, there's also the small possibility of Rolo joining Lulu's family, which would be *rainbows and sunshine* happy.

I don't think Kallen will die. She might be willing to give her life for Japan, but ... she doesn't strike me as a character befitting a tragic death. Anyway, she needs to be there when her mom comes out of her druggie stupor ^_^

I think Schneizel will die. He's not as evil as the emperor, but he's next in line for battle with Lulu.

I don't think Cornelia will die. I expected her to last season, but she survived. She has (positive) Marianne connections, and I'd like to see her become empress have babies with Guilford realize that Euphie would want her to live for her sake.

Suzaku and Lulu are both 50/50. It depends on a whole lot -- Suzaku finding another reason to live, Lulu getting back Nunnally. Both have some chance for redemption, but either/both could reject it. And Lulu could just as easily get his good end by creating a new world, dying, and being with his mom, etc., in the world of C as he could by living on with Nunnally, et al. I hope he lives, though.

By Suzaku? Well, never thought of that. It's certainly good twist in a very painful way. I don't know if Suzaku can cope with that though. While defending him is more probable and I agree that it isn't going to be Zero. That'll be the ending of season 1 all over again.

Especially since, considering how he battles, he probably loses half his pieces setting up sacrifices for traps and I cannot imagine Lulu falling for that as many times as he'd try it.

Yes, as sad as it is to say I can't see Lulu outlasting the series. My hope are that he would live, even though I'm sure he'd be broken by the end once everything comes to light (and that is also a scenario I'm not pleased to think about). But sadly I can't see things ending well for him, or at least ending without Lulu coming out unscathed.

Your right O_o You don't know with Suzaku. I do see him dieing. Sacrificing himself, but of course Lulu's "Live" command totally throws everything up in the air. My fantasy hopeful scenario would be he comes to see Lulu's point of view and they team up in the end to bring Britannia down. Cause you know the world would shake if that perfect worked together like when they saved Nunnally. But again, hopeful scenario and very unlikely.

Rollo (I like that spelling better), even though I adore him after watching ep 4, still confuses me. As far as scenarios for him go. I find him very unpredictable. I do know that if he finds out Lulu is playing him things won't end well on either side. Either he'll believe Lulu till the end, find out what Lulu is doing and betray him, or quite possibly just out right kill him. Like I said, you never know with our messed up little Rollo.

Somehow I doubt Nunnally will die. Like someone else said, if she does Lulu is going to make sure everyone pays.

As for Kallen, I can't see her dieing anytime soon really. I do see her sacrificing herself for Lulu/Zero (I still adore her line in ep 2, referring to Lelouch and Zero as two different people XD Nice Kallen, Nice), but mainly for Zero. But I can't see her dieing anytime soon.

C.C. To be honest. I don't care. I like C.C. so I can't see her dieing, nor can I see her wish being to die. Shes obviously there for a greater purpose than just fulfilling her own wish.

Li-kun, nope. Too important at the moment. Plus I want to see more from him.

Orange-kun. Until he shows up again in the show, don't care.

Viletta, they haven't killed her off yet. And with her complacency at going from a warrior to an undercover teacher they have some more to explain before she kicks the bucket.

Ougi, I see him having a greater purpose. Hes obviously not just some side character since they spent so much time last season showing his kindness to Viletta when she had amnesia, and the obvious love he was developing for her. Plus his last line after she shot him at being glad she got her memories back. I can see him becoming the new leader of Japan, but who knows really? This is Geass after all.

As for Viletta and Ougi as a pair, all I can say is if Sunrise goes that route they better give them a dramatic ending (Romeo x Juliet), or else I could careless. Either kill them off or give them a happy ending, thats all I ask for.

Cornelia and Schinezel. I can see Cornelia helping Lulu, mainly to find Marianne's killer. But because he killed Euphie I can't see her being very cooperative other than that. Schinezel I can see being very difficult for Lulu or helping him. I can't say whether Schinezel knows Lulu is Zero, but Schinezel is going to become important without a doubt. AND GEEZ HIS NAME IS HARD TO TYPE!! Doesn't he have a nickname!? >_> I do wish he would get more screentime though.

Shirley, to be honest I don't care. I never really cared for her to begin with, shes was just there. Until she gets her memories back and freaks out and tries to shot Lulu again, I could careless. I would even settle for her joining Zero, but I don't see that happening either.

Rivalz, don't care. Not enough background info. Comic relief.
Milly, also don't care. Not enough background info for my liking. Again comic relief.
Nina, also don't care. However I would like to see her have another romantic meeting with her table before she dies. I'de like to see her off herself personally. In the name of Princess Euphimia, I die!! *shot* I would miss the crack jokes that in sue every time she gets on screen though, I can say that much.

Knights of the Round. Its obvious one of more is going to die. They're up against Zero for pete's sake. Sure they've got his uber jock Suzaku on their side, but I doubt Suzaku matches Lulu much in the brains category. As for who will go first, we still don't know enough about the Rounds to make assumptions. I'm betting on Anya though >:D

Lelouch - 50% I can see him going either way, but I'm not sure if he'll have a happy ending even if he doesn't die.
Suzaku - 50% He's also half and half because I still see him as half a good guy and half a bad guy. So that gives him a 50% chance of dying for some reason. XD
Rolo - 60% - I don't want him to die, but he does seem like the kind who might go over the edge. I foresee some Shirley-like fate for him in which he becomes tormented by his own thoughts.
Nunnally - 5% I honestly don't think she would die, but just in case...
Kallen - 25% She just doesn't seem like a character who is emotionally important enough to die. However, this is only episode four. There could be some major character development in future episodes that will change my opinion.
C.C. - 50% - I know a lot of people think she will die and her wish probably is to die, but on the chance that things don't go will for Lelouch, her wish may not be granted. I can just see it in my mind already, Ending of Code Geass R2: Lelouch has died and C.C. is left on her own again. Scene changes to a random character minding his own business then finds a dead body in an alley. The arm of said dead body grabs him and a voice appears in his head. "Do you want the power of kings?" Cliffhanger! XD Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.
Xing Ke - 70% I think he's a really cool new character, but I can see him being a pain in the ass for Lelouch who would then plot to kill him. Or something.
Orange-kun - 100% If he's not dead yet, after all that's happened, he's gotta actually die sometime.
Viletta and Ougi - 5% I think they might be some of the characters who would have a happy ending.
Cornelia - ??? - I had the feeling she was already dead. Was there something mentioned somewhere that alluded to her actually being alive, aside from stuff Guilford has said, cuz if you ask me, he's in denial.
Schinezel - 50% - I can't make any predictions for this guy yet. I'll wait a few more episodes.
Shirley - 80% - I just feel like she's going to sacrifice herself for Lelouch somewhere along the story lines.

Anyway, despite whoever actually does die, it's for sure that there will be lots of angst and at least a few dead characters. My reason for this? CLAMP did the character designs. And anyone who knows CLAMP, knows that they love to torture and kill characters. It's just what they do and they are very good at it. XD

Lelouch dying? I don't really see it. I don't see Geass as the type of anime where everythings going to go downhill. I know many people are constantly going WTF over Lelouch, he's confusing, but because he isn't that bad of a guy I can't see him dying. At the least, seeing Nunally die would be pointless to the entire anime. I just don't see them pulling this kind of sadism on Lelouch. Suzaku has been hit up too many times to full out die. I just can't see it now! Rollo though? Probably. See, I'm just used to losing only one super important person. Euphie and all, you know.

Shirley? Err...well, after all that's happened I'm estimating close to 0%. Kallen though? Man hell no. After season 1 it's surely a possibility, but seeing her passion and drive just makes me feel like 'No' especially if Lelouch ends up dying. Those are just people I can't see it for..D:

I don't think Lelouch is going to die--that's too much of an easy way out for him, personally. I don't think he's going to get out of the series unscathed, though. Maybe lose an eye or two, or otherwise permanently scarred for life.

I think Shirley has a maybe 5 - 10% chance of dying XD

An Interesting theory ... Would love to see that happen ... but Sunrise is Sunrise so I don't think its probable. Don't get me wrong thought I don't want Orange to die, he's one of my favorite characters. It would be really amazing if he did join the black Knights. But I can't see him forgetting the whole 'Orange' thing too soon so he may want to kill Lulu at the end of it all??

That's kinda, well, trite. I'm rather tired of immortal characters who regard immortality as a curse and want to die already, because it's hopelessly overused.
Ahahaha, but at least I think it's better than finding true love, which is even more overused.

God I never even realized that was Orange. I took a quick glance and I thought it was somebody from the rounds because of the fancy clothing.
