Well, I think he showed that he's willing to kill for the sake of revenge and revenge alone with Clovis, and when he almost killed Cornelia in 25 even though there was no use for it then, either. I think he's very much capable of killing people for terrible reasons, and has done it in the past.
He's a bit underutilized for an antagonist thus far. Maybe he will just be sidelined, but I've seen other speculation that he'll take a more violent role against Lelouch. I guess it's more hope on my part - otherwise it seems strange that he was even there, if you ask me, and he's very much in the way of Lelouch's revenge. He was, after all, one of the two that Clovis implicated in episode 3, and so I'm sure Lelouch is going to have a talk with him at some future date, if nothing else.
I'm more curious to see who the Emperor takes out with him, though. I can't imagine the man dying easily or alone. xD
