You're right. We do have a little insight into Lelouch's motives, character, and thinking. We don't have it so much, so often for Suzaku. But I still think they're both screwing each other over by using other people. Nunnally? Euphie? Personally, I understand why Lelouch does some of the things he does, but I still disagree sharply with his methods. Can't help it. XD; Suzaku's methods are much more roundabout, but if things do work out, he may not have to worry about being overthrown by the Empire, something Lelouch may constantly have to worry about until he defeats the Emperor.
