If he doesn't fake the conversation with Nunnally, I can really see him talking naturally with her and telling her that he'll see her soon (i.e. I'm gonna kidnap you back.) Though if he does that I really want him to thank Suzaku for letting him know that Nunnally is "safe and healthy" because he was sick with worry for her well being in his friend mode. And then go into silent rage at Suzaku and tell him strait up that THIS IS WAR!
He could appeal to Suzaku's noble side and his duality though process to get himself out of this pickle and say, "If you want to go after me then go after me in the battlefield as Zero."
