Not in Japan, but I go there and buy a lot of stuff from there and I do read some Japanese (with the help of Mr Dictionary for the kanji! ^-^b). The benchmark DVDs for me have been Gonzo's GarasuNoKantai DVDs - they came with SO much extra stuff including an awful lot of production art and new paintings; Garakan was designed by Okama and his drawings are amazing. I would pay for more of Clamp's drawings, a la that insert character design book that came free with...I think was Newtype?
DVD no1. seems OK...well, it had a set of 10 postcards in it from Clamp, but they're of those paintings which accompany the end titles. It's nice to have them without text, but they're not *really* special as they are images we've seen. I am not sure it has drama snippets on it; I think it might have one for the DVD, but it has the collected net radio stuff on it.
