1. I think its because he is athletic. I read in some magazine that almost ppl who good at sports have a nice body (include tight ass LOL), just look to Kallen, she have a nice body too^^ 2. almost (not all) mecha anime, have their pilot wearing a tight pilot suit (Fafner everyone? XD), maybe this one being one of fanservice this days^^; 3.hahahaha everyone? :D
