Oh yeah, there's definitely some similarities between the two, but they diverge wildly in motivation, how they use their powers, how they see the world, and how they see themselves in relation to others. In short, Light is a bastard; Lelouch is a decent guy when you get down to it, and people who say they are one and the same make me fjioasjfsiodafj.

I have to agree with your pairing reason! I have people at anime club tell me how much they hate Suzaku and it's like ... okay, but he's supposed to be a bastard. He helps make the story what it is! XD

HAHA While Suzaku isn't really my favorite, I do understand what he's striving for, plus it's nice to see people try to really stand up for him.

And that's completely understandable since work's always more important. &hearts It's a nice show to watch if you ever do manage to find yourself with a bit of extra time though.

I've learned that with anime you have to be versatile with your pairings. Thing is, the ones I'm rooting for rarely turn out that way, so from now on I don't think too much about them and accept what's coming xD *the easy way out*

Ah, coolness! Yeah, my friend (GUY friend believe it or not) got me into watching Itazura na Kiss. I was ready to dismiss it as 'stupid shoujo anime number 24t593845' (*yeah there's a 't' in there and I'm not deleting it* :P), but I watched it because he liked it, and now I like it. ^_^
