Hi!

I am totally new to this community and to the world of Code Geass as I just started watching it on [adult swim] in April and I love it! My question is are there any manga or anime releases for the series here in the US? Everything I have found just says TBA. Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge, no. I'm pretty sure that the manga hasn't been released here translated yet, and I don't think the dvds are out here, since no one seems to have seen any dubbed episodes other than what's been on cartoon network yet.

Welcome, but a word of warning, you might want to tread lightly for spoilers here, since most of the community saw the first season more than a year ago.

A word of caution: The mangas for this series are very, very non-canon. So if you want a manga form of what you see on TV, you're a little out of luck. =/

I hear the Lelouch of the Rebellion manga follows the anime story closely, just that it's more character oriented and mechs play a small role. Never bothered to pick it up and see for myself, though (the slightly different character designs bugged me too much).

It does. I picked it up, too, but stopped.

Though Manga has more crack moments in a way.

I didn't even realize that there was a Lelouch of the Rebellion manga... (I was only aware of NoN and SotC) Oops.

This teaches me to answer things I know too little about.

It follows the anime, though I'm not sure about whether or not it does so closely. Not by my definition of closely, though compared to the others, perhaps it does. From what I've read, it's more comedic, and likely intended for a younger audience. It rearranges the events of the anime and cuts out some.

It is, however, much closer to the plot of the anime than the other mangas.
