Erm, that's a good question, but there are scans of Marianne when she was younger and she had the exact same hairstyle as Anya, tha's why people speculate she's the clone. I don't imagine CLAMP could run out of character designs. (wait I totally take that back since Suzaku is Syaoran, and Lelouch is Kamui.)
