What if...?

Just a question I was thinking of, because I want to write a fanfiction that addresses this point:

What if--by some strange twist of fate--it was not Lelouch that got the geass, but Suzaku?

O_O

I predict the world as we know it would end. Given how much of an enigma Suzaku ALREADY is...there's no telling what would happen if he got a power like that actually in his hands...D:

I figure if Suzaku did get the Geass, his Geass would be different from Lelouch's, since "giving an absolute order" doesn't seem like a power Suzaku would have, while Lelouch... xD

edit; as for what kind of power Suzaku's Geass would have, judging that IF the Geass is capable of granting this kind of power I sorta picture his power being about going back or forward in time.

That would be tough, because Suzaku's way of thinking is actually very complex. What he initially wanted was to change Britannia from within (which is almost entirely impossible as long as Charles and V.V is around, just that he doesn't realise it yet), so I couldn't think of an appropriate Geass power that would suit Suzaku...

But maybe, if it's Suzaku, his Geass might be one that influences instead of one that commands? Or maybe a Geass power that can draw out the human part of even the most evil human beings, arousing something like compassion in other people?

I dunno... ~_~

The world would end, if only because I can't imagine WHAT sort of Geass Suzaku'd have. Others already mentioned it, but for Suzaku's goal, he doesn't really need a Geass at all... It'd only be a quick patch to change people's view and not a permanent solution... :/

I don't think Suzaku would ever take a geass. ^_^;;; I think he would sort of see it as "cheating" since he is the ultra honorable type. It's like I can't see Kallen or Todou taking one either. All 3 all somewhat stereotypical in that respect.
