The twins bit is definitely weird. though about par for course at the moment.

As for my Shirley, the lovers bit gives me hope that they might not kill her off after current events. I was getting peeved that they seemingly had dropped that. It seemed like such a waste. Though I can't help but fear for her now.

Why though is anybodies guess. It's painfully obvious that Lulou will wind up with either C.C. or Kallen or even no one. Shirley's sort of the relationship he could of had had he been a normal student. Given the events of episode 12, she's sadly more likely to die than to wind up with Lulou. Though does Lulou really need more tragedy?

Golden rule of non-romance centered fictions taught in one of my creative writing sessions: "Protagonists shouldn't end up in romantic relationships with another regular character." the reason why critiques went berserk after Harry Potter's 7th book But with Japanese anime, anything could happen.

I'd rather he ends up with Kallen if they feel the need to let romance bloom somewhere in the anime, because it's kind of freaky since C.C has been around since before Lulu was even born ~_~

While everyone else is freakin' out about V.V. and the Emperor being twins and about Lelouch/Shirley, I'm still stuck on "WAIT, WHAT? SUZAKU IS ACTUALLY NUNNALLY'S KNIGHT?"

I guess it could make sense, but considering that we've gone 12 episodes with him only referred to as the Massacre Princess' knight, it still seems a bit out of the blue. (Guilford even gave his advice this past episode on account of his being Euphie's knight.) SOMEONE TRANSLATE WHAT'S IN THE PARENTHESES.

And I hope that Milly being grayed out like that doesn't mean that she's out of the story for good.

Progression of Hales' thought:

1. Lelouch/Shirley... WUT?!

2. V.V. and Charles are twins? Hm... I guess that explains the "nii-san" bit.

3. ....Wait, knight?

But I think that this title is only there because Lelouch wanted Suzaku to be Nunnally's knight, and that's pretty much what he sees between them post episode 7 (whereas, before that, he was still hating on Suzaku for snatching Nunnally away). We have yet to see any indication that Suzaku is "officially" Nunnally's knight considering that 1) Nunnally appears back in the Royal Family after being presumed dead (which I have another rant on, but that's another topic altoghether) and 2) Suzaku is "officially" a Knight of Rounds, which I believe are meant to be more of the Knights for the Emperor rather than his children...

I'm not "OMFG NOT LULUXSHIRLEY" but I am warming up to their relationship. Not so much as a couple but how maybe Shirley could help Lelouch somehow about his feelings. At first I didn't like Shirley because well she's just THERE, but she seems to be an important aspect of the show and Lelouch's feelings otherwise she wouldn't be the prime target. Lelouch would hate to see Shirley get hurt. So I am not OMFG over it. If that's what Sunrise wants then let them do it. This isn't a romance anime so the romance bit isn't my concern.

The emperor must love kids since he spawned so many of them. He must be 80 years old or something. Poor women who had to give birth so much :(!

I wanna know what it says about Kallen. No one's mentioned her =P

Does Lulu have any other brothers and sisters? I've always wondered since he is seventeenth (or was, before he killed Clovis and Euphemia) in line for the throne. Of course, monarchy succession isn't my strong point, so maybe they're counting all of Charles' wives in line for the throne too, though I'm pretty sure that only happens if the oldest child/son isn't of age yet.
