Turn 14- Geass Hunting
To avenge the death of an important person who died because of geass, Lelouch determines to annihilate the Geass Cult.
With the information from Rolo and Jeremiah, he found out the Cult's headquarter in Chinese Federation and rushes in with the Black Knights.
The person waiting inside is the young leader of the Cult, who has immortal powers same as C.C., and is the older brother of the Emperor of Britannia, V.V.

I've never been all that fond of Shirley and I was always violently against ShirleyXLulu, but I do pity the poor girl at least. She's had such a bad time. However, I am really relieved that we will be getting some solid closure to this subplot. Now we can move on to the more important stuff.

I regret reading this before the showing, too, but what else could they have done with her? Just let her sit by idly and know Lelouch is Zero? She would be totally against helping him because of her deceased father. All that could've been done was rewriting her memories again, if that's even possible after the effects of the Canceller.

Though I must admit I agree with everyone else about Sunrise kind of... well, screwing her out of the show alot this season. She didn't even get many opening scenes or even a drawing by CLAMP in the ED. Guess they may include her in the 2nd OP and ED as a rememberance?

Well, to be honest, I'd rather Shirley die than live the rest of her life unhappily. With her new memories, and the fact that I think Lelouc will NOT get a happy ending, this seems okay a little. Still, if they don't make the next episode and her death FUCKING GOD DAMN AMAZING, I will be pissed.

For some reason, I thought the first summary was referring to Euphie. But I'm a bit confused here...while everyone says that Shirley wouldn't be able to cope with Lelouch's identity and what he's done (yeah, I imagine it'd be hard to deal with), towards the end of season one, although she didn't exactly know what was going on...she still placed some trust in Lelouch. Didn't that crumbled up note she picked up talk about her father's death and how she found out Lelouch was Zero?

mmm...imo, not really. After she found that crumpled note, she kept trying to find out the truth from Lulu, but kept flaking out/the circumstances prevent her to. Then again, during Stage 24+25, she did place faith in Zero that he won't harm them, I think it's more of the amnesia talking though.

The show was practically screaming for it, lmaowtf. Like seriously? Being the undisputed most fucked-up person from the Geass does have its perks. An early death, for instance. As much as I view her to be too stereotypical I have to agree she is quite an important friend to Lulu (lmao he doesn't have that much anyway).

I'm not positively excited to see Lulu going berserk over her death though. Anger does not help D:

To be honest, I'm conflicted. You see Shirley had her merits and she could be good, but lately she was just existing for Lelouch. Lelouch has two, (three if you want to get into Kaguya) and they all exist otherwise. They establish themselves and don't go into ruts when things don't work out with Lelouch, Kallen pilots Gurren and C.C. started the whole thing. Shirley was becoming even more of the JUST someone for Lelouch. I hope at least her death can establish her as her own character again.

On a much meaner note, how come everyone I find displeasing ends up dying?

I don't hate nor like Shirley. I also didn't wish for her to end with Lelouch since I am more of a Rollo fan..Rollo is my priority in my fangirling life...bt I feel sad that Shirley will be dying..after a development with her relationship with Lelouch, it is really too sad for her to end up dying. (Rollo..don't die too please....)

Shirley is one of my favorite charactors. She represented the fate of normal civillians in war, as did all the school council members...

... In other words she was destined to die, I guess. I feel for Lulu though. Of all his girls Shirly was the one who kept normality in check for him. He's going to completely lose touch with everything outside of his waring agenda now.

Well... At least theres a legit reason shes in the plot now. I never expected her to end up with Lulu anyway, though it seems thats the route it was going.

Although not a fan of shirley, but she is a good nice female character (although very NORMAL). Her dead will be a big lost.
But somehow i've been prepared, there no way a war anime doesn't have a victim, there still character that can die anytime.

But i just wonder, is Lelouch being cursed? every woman that have a bit 'close' relationship with him, ended die (so i'm afraid of Kallen now^^; )

Well...I sort of saw this coming with the ending of episode 12. I mean, Euphie got Geass'd and she had to be killed. It's sort of the reverse with Shirley - now that Jeremiah undid everything, Shirley just knows too much to be allowed to live too long, unless she's like, Geass'd again. And that would just be a repeat of season 1.

But I'm still astounded. The mag seriously revealed THAT much?
