This isn't a spoiler 'cause there's been no mention to it at all, yet it's been in two OPs as a still flash (1st OP 1st season, 2nd OP 2nd season)

Usually, all pictures in the OPs have some relevance to the series. So I ask, what does Jupiter have to do with Code Geass?!

I'm curious on your thoughts...(for those wondering where the cut ins are located. For the 1st OP S1, right after Lelouch takes off his helmet at the end, for the 2nd OP S2, a short ways into it after Lelouch, once again, takes off his helmet).

Oh gawd, please don't let Code Geass get something like 'THE POWER' from Gaogaigar...

Jupiter as in the god? Jupiter= Zeus. Supreme king god. Some type of mythological power play?

Jupiter shows up all the time, usually in relation to the Geass Cult or the Geass power. My thoughts/theories on why are here.

I still believe that it's just because Sunrise loves Jupiter.

I laughed so hard when I saw Jupiter in Geass, just because at this point, I don't even know why I'm surprised anymore.

from wiki

Akasha is the Sanskrit word meaning "aether" in both its elemental and mythological senses. In Hinduism Akasha means the basis and essence of all things. The source of everything that exists. It is one of the Panchamahabhuta, or "five great elements"; its main characteristic is Shabda (sound). In Hindi the meaning of Akash is sky.

Akasa is space in the Jain conception of the cosmos. It falls into the Ajiva category, divided into two parts: Loakasa (the part occupied by the material world) and Aloakasa (the space beyond it which is absolutely void and empty). In Loakasa the universe forms only a part. Akasa is that which gives space and makes room for the existence of all extended substances.

~that explains why there are those two spheres next to eachother

Brihaspati (or Brahmanaspati) is the name of a Vedic deity, personification of piety and religion, the chief offerer of prayers and sacrifices, represented as the Purohita of the gods with whom he intercedes on behalf of humankind.

In later Hindu mythology, he is the guru of the Devas and the arch-nemesis of Shukracharya, the guru of the Danavas. He is also known as Ganapati (leader of the group [of planets]), and Guru (heavy and teacher), the god of wisdom and eloquence, to whom various works are ascribed, such as the Barhaspatya sutras.

In astronomy he is the regent of Jupiter and often identified with that planet.

~why posibly jupiter is there

Sunrise DID work with space animes like the Gundam universe so it's bound to be there for the heck of it... That's just my theory.

Maybe Geass is going to space
