No one says you have to like canon pairings. But to not pair someone because they're "OMG BOTH R UKE" is just... well... lame.
Ship people because they have personalities that seem to fit well together. Or, if you're like me and prefer manipulative, dark pairings, ship them because they're fucking hot together.
