Meh, if none of them died it's ridiculous. Though I just suspect they want Nunally to survive and if she was the only one with a "whereabouts unknown" it would be too obvious she lived. Asahina at least seems pretty dead to me.
Besides, as much as I like Nunnally I think her death would have been better. That's just cheap.
