I would think they're doing the opposite by pretending nothing's wrong and not admitting it. Cuz I mean, Geass is a big series for them and I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who rarely buy DVDs but will be purchasing this series because it's so good, and to be let down like this is gives us a really bad impression of the company and that may hurt Bandai's future sales to people like this.
