Hi-RAW
Triumph RAWS version 2
CP RAWS

AHAHAHAHAHA
YES, YES YES!!! Our Lulu is back!! AWAY from the witche's Shirley's hands!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

A bit disappointed that Lulu actually had feelings for her... but but but, SHIRLEY is OFFICIALLY
GONE!!
Come on Suzaku, get him.. Get him!!!! It's your chance!! Before Viletta Or what ever her name is tells Ougi and the others!! Come on, Suzaku-----!!! KYYAAAAAA---!!!

And Rival and his love for Lulu. xD I liked how Mirei was like "Don't be so annoying/stop acting so weird just because Lulu hasn't played/been with you these days" xDDDD KYYAAAAAA--!!

Oh, and Mao, you BASTARD. I love you. xD
Except for the fact that he's crazy for C2. Dx

And the yuri-ness... I hate it. I mean, Nina isn't a bad character and Euphie isn't either... It's just that Nina definitely has sexual affections for Euphie, and she knows/admits it too!!
Nanalie told Rival that people with something planned on the meeting of Euphie wont be allowed to meet her. In this case the something is interperted as a "sexual" or "for the riches" thing and when Nanalie finsihed her line and Rival was like "what!?", Nina looked down as if to hide her "true" feelings... GAH, the yuri-ness is killing me. Dx

I don't mind yuri in general... but Code Geass needs MORE YAOI. The main characters are all guys!! I mean, the females are more on the "side" "useless" people side... YAAAOOOOIIII-- K, not exactly Yaoi but at least Shounen Ai?

At least I got to see a cute Suzaku and Rival.

C2, I like her... but I don't like C2 and Lulu scenes. Dx
There's like less Lulu and a male scenes now. T-T;;

Oh and Seshiru... looks like she has something also-!!! x]

Thanks for the torrent links.

More to the point than any personal prefence for one type of porn over another, I am not sure why they're pushing the 'Nina is gay' angle. It doesn't appear to add anything to the plot, other than confusing people. Perhaps she'll develop a psycho crush and start stalking Euphie. Or...heh...if the name of Zero gets back to her somehow, maybe she'll turn it over to Brittania for achance to meet her heroine/crush in person. lol.

Code Geass does not need more yaoi. It's job is not really to provide porn for it's fan girls (though it would be nice to have an equal amount of fanservice as there is for the boys). Porn is fandom's job. Canon's job is to tell the story.

Many people 'ship' CC and Lelouch and I am sure they will flatly disagree with you. >:)

I don't know...I was never a fan of Shirley before, but I actually felt quite sorry for her these past two episode. And I feel bad for Lulu too, he obviously does care for her alot and is sad to let her go as a friend. And I don't think he wiped her memories completely for his own sake either, he did it to relieve her of her pain as well. I'm glad he didn't kill her...shows he still has a conscience and still loves his friends. So he hasn't turned all Yagami Light on us just quite yet. Not that I don't love Light cause I do, but I don't want Lulu to go down that path....don't want that end for him. Anyway, I really am dying for the showdown between him and Suzaku. That's going to be awesome.

Personally I think alot of the females in Code Geass kick ass. We have C.C., Kallen, Villetta and Cornelia. I don't quite feel one way or another about Euphie just yet. Alot of times I can't stand female characters in anime, but I must say CG isn't one of those times (well with the exception of Nina, I really dislike her). And hey, I like shounen-ai too but really you can't expect it in CG. It's not going to happen anywhere but in fanfics and doujin imho.

I like yaoi as much as the next fangirl, but I don't get much of a yaoi or shounen-ai vibe from this particular series or see why there necessarily should be. I don't think that every anime needs to have yaoi or shounen-ai in it as canon, actually. If that's something that's important to you, there are other anime that fit the bill.

And I find that several of the female characters in this series are actually interesting and seem to add to the plot, so they wouldn't really be 'useless.' I don't want to be argumentative, but I don't understand why some people [in general in this fandom, not necessarily you] seem to want to demean or belittle female characters mainly because they don't fit into a preferred ship. Why can't we just enjoy the anime and characters for what they are, and then write/draw what appeals to us later?

Oh and why would C.C. be useless? She's saved Lulu's ass on several occasions actually. Plus he wouldn't even have geass or have become Zero if it wasn't for her...she's a pivotal character to the series.

Oh, come on, it's Gundam. It's gay by default.

I repeat what I said. Porn is not canon's job. If you want more yaoi, then I am sure you'll find an abundance of it where it always is; fanworks.

Heh. Actually some of us have never seen Gundam Seed, so the constant comparisons are meaningless.

Ah, if only fandom worked that way! XD

I agree with you; there's nothing especially yaoi-ish about the show. I love yaoi, but all my Code Geass ships, such as they are, are het. *shrug* That's the way it goes. :)

Code G has great girls! XD Even Nina. Though I do think she would be more psychologically interesting if they pursued her fear of elevens, rather than this 'Nina is gay' angle that doesn't seem to really do anything. I mean...so what, she's gay? It seems rather irrelevant that she has a crush on Euphemia at this point. *shrug*

The AsuCaga and KiraRaku fans would violently disagree with such talk! Not to mention UC fans. Heh...but then the AsuKira fans would very much agree. Also GW fans too...christ there are so many yaoi fans in that fandom.

Alas, both are mecha shows by Sunrise with some very superficial similarities...I think people will always compare the two unfortunately. Really, they are such different shows. The comparisons aren't really fair to either show I think...

And on a random note cool icon!

You have to have some Noein in your life! XD

Yeah, I am aware of Gundam Seed and was going to watch it initially to see what this fuss was; but I think I am better off not doing so. ^-^

Ah, but I didn't specify SEED. :D
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:46 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] crackjaw.livejournal.com
I was actually being somewhat sarcastic in reference to that (though I do count myself among them).
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:46 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] thomasvye.livejournal.com
Or Destiny, or Wing indeed. Never seen them. *shrug* I like mechs too. But I just never have. Sousei No Aquarion is my favourite mech show. Now that was a crazy show.

*shrug* As I said in my below comment, I was being sarcastic in reference to the amazing amount of yaoi fangirls in the general fandom. I am quite capable of being objective, even if I am one.

I've never seen that one. I really only watch mecha for the silliness, anyway, but I'm always open to new experience.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:50 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] crackjaw.livejournal.com
I'm rather glad the similarities are mostly superficial, because I don't think I could handle a lesbian Kamui.

(Inside joke. Sorry.)
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:51 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] zalem.livejournal.com
Oh I didn't really think you were serious. :) I'm half joking around myself...well not about the GW thing, there really ARE a ton of yaoi fans in the GW fandom. O_O I think there are more yaoi fans then non-yaoi fans (well, it feels that way).
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:52 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] thomasvye.livejournal.com
Well, if you like silly mecha, then Sousei may be for you! XD It was really very silly, mechs and mecha angels, but rather good as well! XD Demonbane is also silly; occult mechs.

There are billions of yaoi fangirls in evry fandom! I am one. :D But no yaoi pairing has particularly struck me in Code G. :)
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 01:55 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] crackjaw.livejournal.com
I think Wing and SEED are more directed towards girls than the other series, anyway. I mean, look at the sheer amount of bishounen (especially in SEED, yikes). I mean, what do you expect us to do with that, other than slash them? I'm certainly not interested in any of the female characters.
