I spoil you if you clicky this
1. Anya is Marianne, who finds C.c. and brings the real one out of hiding. Doesn't look like she cares about Lelouch so much.
2. C.c. gave Marianne geass? (I half missed what they were saying)
3. Lulu geasses a bunch of brittanian soldiers (what's new?)
4. Suzaku tells Nina she did a good job and Freija was a big success.
5. Suzaku orders everyone around, Schneizel turns up, Suzaku asks Schneizel to order him to kill the Emperor.
6. Coup d'état ensues.
7. Gino is against Coup, and is tied up =)
8. Suzaku faces Knight of One, who starts to kick Suzaku's arse.
9. Lelouch's geassed people start attacking other forces, Suzaku starts running in the confusion and falls into a pit caused by the blasting, sure he's okay! ;;
10. Marianne/Anya=WTF "Think we should try and save Lelouch?" To C.c. casually.
11. Lelouch goes after Emperor who is rebuilding the sword of Arkarsha and destroys the entrance so both he and Charles are trapped together. "You will suffer in here together with me!"
Somewhere in the ep. Lelouch calls Rivals, tells him Rolo is with him *sob* and that he should tell Milly he can't keep the fireworks promise...
Need next ep already!

Also, your icon is hilarious.

I shall not even ponder over the horribe plot development that is Marianne and the sudden wham-oh-hey-i'm-c.c-i'm-back crap that didn't even last a minute.
Somebody said this, Anytime you have episodes like these, iffy animation and slightly rushed, that means that something epic is going to happen soon. They have to allocate enough money for the important/significant parts.
Well I sure hope that is true.

And as far as CC goes, I wouldn't be surprised if she went around Geassing people for the hell of it to see which one would be able to take it like she had for so long...or see who could kill her first...she does have a twisted sense about her...

I am thrilled by the coup d'état. About time Schneizel tried to seize power.
Why was Diethard shown all beaten up later in the ep?
Does Bismarck have a Geass too? In his sewn-up eye? Yeah that makes sense.
Suzaku scampering away with sword in hand was a highlight for me.
UGH, another week?! But at least C.C. got her memory back. Seems like she was faking it all along or something.

But really though, what was up with Diethard and Bismarck's eye? XD

From what I understood, it seems now that Villeta had gotten away, Ougi beat the crap out of him for doing that to her. That's why he said that "I thought Ougi had changed, but it seems that what he likes to do is 'protect'. So, he was misplaced, after all." (or something of the sort)
In a few words, Ougi =/= leader, which was something we ALL knew. You are not very quick on the spot, Diethard.

Cannot wait to see Charles and Lelouch interacting in the next episode. Hot DAMN, did Lulu look amazingly sexy in this episode. I will admit, there was -tons- of QUALITY in this episode as well.
Oh, and the preview got me really giddy. you saw the red flashing text, yes?
"Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrat" = "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."
And I'm half-expecting that tree thingamabob to be/be called Yggdrasil.

Thanks for the wtfuckery.

This is a good example of bad storyboard planning. Cramming everything into a few episodes and leaving billions of questions unanswered that will be (or will not be) left to scrambled answers. Almost like Lost, but not as cinematically satisfying. (I'm still wondering what the fuck that polar bear was doing on the island...and I still think the entire show is about people shoved into purgatory.)
Eck. J. J. Abrams and Code Geass apparently go hand-in-hand.

If you re-watch the beginning of the ep, Anya's eyes aren't geass'd and then after the weird light she clutches her head and they are.
And if you recall correctly...it's happened before to her. Several times, but the one I remember the most is right before Freija went off and Lelouch was about to be lynched in his Knightmare.

Also, the animation quality was pretty bad. Especially, near the beginning with Suzaku. It was kind of annoying.

So it appears she's controlling Anya. The only question left is why. We know CC mentioned breaking the contract, would she physically kill herself just to get out of it? Seems like a shallow explanation. Though she seems so apathetic to Lelouch, who knows. I love the part about not being the perfect mother.
Applause to Kaguya, for being the leader Ougi can't be. I loved her admittance to not really being his fiance.

Lelouch: "If there is anyone that holds despair greater than mine..." [Eclipse subs]
and then
Marianne: "Should I save him?"
