I'm one of the people who definitely are not happy about this TWIST. Yes, it was somewhat to be expected, but with everything that has happened after Nunnally's "death", I was hoping she'd actually, you know, stay dead. I don't have anything against Nunnally, but the series had actually moved on; her return will most likely kill any developement that happened in the last few episodes.

Lelouch was coming into terms with the loss, at least somewhat, and he was finally moving forward without having his sister complex used to fuck his plans over. And now we are back to having Lelouch screwed over for bazillionth time for the same damn reason. -_-

For one, I am very sceptic about Schneizel using Nunnally against Lelouch. I can't really see even his smooth powers making her not support her oniisama, at least definitely not without hearing him out. It's especially hard to see her believing Lelouch is somehow doing something horrible, now that Suzaku sides with him as well.

I don't know. I had a gut feeling she was still alive, but after a while I thought she was dead and wanted her to stay dead. But now that I think on it, there was no real confrontation between the two siblings. And that's odd considering how important Nunnally is. Her story was unfinished and it felt weird to end it so abruptly. Lulu was finally getting over his siscon, but only because his sister was dead. I want Lulu to face Nunnally head on and get the hell over his siscon and realize not everything is about Nunnally. Otherwise, he's really not getting over it. He's only getting over it because circumstances force him to.

Oh come on, it was really obvious that something like this would happen. Her "death" earlier was too unconvincing - no tear jerking speech, no Hitomi song, no body, no "oniisama!!" and we didn't even get to see her open her eyes! (Which HAS to happen before she actually dies)

In an anime as over the top as this one, there's simply no way an important character like her would die such a pointless, sudden death. That kind of death is for the minor characters. XD
So yeah, Nunally being alive makes a lot of sense in the context of this show. I just hope the way she's brought back won't be too dumb.

I didn't want Nunnaly to still be alive. I'm still hoping this is somehow false or it is something else in the show. However, I have suspected that she would make a return. It would be better if she did remain dead. I liked that she perished in the blast. A casualty of war that was Lelouch's fault and he could not protect her. It is not the dramatic ending, but it felt... real, I guess would be the best word (that I can think of). And Lelouch can never really have his happy ending, which would have been watching/knowing his sister grew up in a peaceful world. I think that end to Nunnaly is better than bringing her back and causing extra Lulu angst. I'm not really interested in/eager for a brother vs. sister showdown. (unless that sister is Cornelia >.> )

Somehow I'm not surprised, though the nth iteration of "Oh Noes Nunnally! Must Angst!" is getting a little old. I'd hoped she would have survived but just to appear in the epilogue or something.

And Schneizel doesn't even have to a whole lot of smooth-talking to turn Nunnally against Lelouch - all he would have to do is tell her the truth. "Your oniisama killed Clovis, Euphemia, a whole bunch of Japanese, has an evil brainwashing power, and is the terrorist Zero. And here's the tape to prove it."

For all that Lelouch always claims to be doing things for Nunnally's sake, she would never approve of his methods. It's exactly like the bit where Marianne tells Lelouch that they were sent to Japan to protect them, and he wasn't having any of it because it's not what he wanted.

I am really really happy about this. Maybe it's because I'm a sis-con myself XD but Nunnally coming back makes me happy. I'm sure she won't be evl for too long, Schneizel will probably just whisper bad things about her Niisama in her ear, and she has to work out who's lying. The foreshadowing with the ultimate lie-detector Nunnally will come into play, and sLulu will have to be completely honest to win her back.
