Maybe advertisers are shying away from Geass's terrorism themes? But that doesn't explain why Moribito and the other shows got shafted too. I read a couple months ago that Cartoon Network had some plan called "The Cartoonstitute" to make 150 or so new pieces of animation in under two years... and all of it their in-house stuff. I guess the reruns are there as placeholders for new shows. Perhaps we can anticipate more shoddily animated butt jokes?

That's what I thought, to prep all the weaboos for the second season. But still, that seems really lame imo.

WHAT. WHAT.

I mean, I don't really mind as I'd be up at that time anyway and I'm still DVRing, but WHAT?

My poor anime night is ruined. All I have to watch on cable now is a show about a talking butt that no one likes. :\

Space Ghost was great, Harvey Birdman was great, and even Aqua Teen Hunger Force had its moments... but the new shows are painful to watch. Like, literally. That squiggly line animation makes me nauseous. I guess Bleach is still too much of a cash cow with all of its associated merchandise for them to let it go.

That's insane!O_O

Is it bad that I'm more sad about Shin-chan...?

But yeah...they go to all the work of securing R2 to run immediately after, and then push Code Geass back...?

I gotta be honest - I kinda like 12 Oz. Mouse. XD It was so shitty and I felt like I was on the verge of actually understanding it near the end. I liked trying to explain to people what it was supposed to be about.

I hadn't heard about that, though. I've never run into anybody who says they love Squid Billies and Assy Mcwhatever so it really makes me wonder what kind of money they think is in shows like that. They're cheap to make probably but they really don't garner the same viewers. If the views on their website were any indication, Code Geass was one of their most popular and well-rated shows. :\?

Don't forget Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

Does anyone even know what that's about? Something about boobs and peanut butter...

I liked the one episode of Perfect Hair Forever I saw. But that might have been due to alcohol.

Well, I guess this won't impact their online viewership. Cartoon Network can cater to the Adult Swim base of drunken insomniac college students.

First, I don't even watch any of the effing William street shows, cause they make me nauseated by the x amount of idiocy that goes on there. It would've been better if they took off just these shows as I dubbed them: red neck squids, Metal-whatchem-you-call-it, the talking Happy meals
and the ass show. And leave whatever good shows up there so we may continously watch good anime hrs after hrs.

2nd, when I want to watch the shows I want, they are at the most ridiculous time slot that lead to me avoiding watching AS as a whole and sticking with shows that i care to watch........on my PC.......streaming.

Yea, I'm with you on this "WTF AS?!"

WTF indeed.I had a hard time watching it when it is on at 1:00 am.Now I have to wait til 5:00.What is wrong with the people at Cartoon Network!Have they been smoking dope!

But why are you going to take off (or rather move) something that's popular and new for something that's old. There's no logic in that.

Y DEY DO DIS?!

I hate it when they do last minute changes like this, my DVR is gay and doesn't update schedules instantly so changes don't register, and I have to record the time slot instead of the show. So, this week Code Geass will be labeled as.... Inuyasha. Great. Thanks, Adult Swim.

Yeah, their online viewers are probably entirely separate, come to think of it. Not that it makes their lineup of spam shows any better. I kind of wish things would go back to the way they were with the Midnight Run. XD

WTF IS WRONG WITH THEM. SRSLY.

Why the hell did they change it?! It was perfectly fine the way it was! And no Shin-chan...? GODDAMMIT.

The thing that disappoints me about this is really, I get up for work at 4am on Sundays, and I could always look forward to watching the Dub and loling while I got ready to leave. Now I'm going to have to find something else that's on at 4am on a Sunday, because I absolutely refuse to watch Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job anymore.

Obviously they just wanted to have a hip new timeslot change of hell like the season in Japan. America won't be outdone.

Sadly, I think R2 would've been made better by a crazy timeslot change to 5am. -_-

IMO, the dub makes my ears bleed at points. I'M MORE PISSED AT THE FACT THAT THEY REPLACED THE VENTURE BROS. WITH SHIT LIKE ASSY MCGEE AND 12OZ MOUSE. WHAT THE FUCK. YOU REPLACED TEAM VENTURE WITH A TALKING BUTT? Smooth move [AS].

True, true. Even if the show itself hadn't changed, lack of sleep does wonders for entertainment value.
