Code Geass Relegated to 0500 Time Slot on Adult Swim

America's Adult Swim television network has updated its schedule for this Saturday evening and Sunday morning by moving Bleach earlier to 11:00 p.m., pushing Code Geass and Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit anime series back to 5:00–6:00 a.m., and removing Shin Chan and Inuyasha entirely. Adult Swim has also added reruns of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Before the recent change, the following series were scheduled for this Saturday evening and Sunday morning:

My favorite part about this is they decide to put on FMA twice before Code Geass and Moribito which are their premiere shows. How many times has FMA ran on the channel already?

I've given up on Adult Swim a long time ago so I am just highly amused by all this.

WTF indeed. Who the hell is gonna wake up at 5AM to watch it? Well... I've always recorded it though cuz I don't stay up late, but that's not the point. This'll probably result in more people recording it and you know what that means? Everyone fast forwards through the commercials! Yeah, way to go, Cartoon Network. Not really. Always seems to pull in at least the top three (anime) at least for Saturday, and it topped Saturday's charts occasionally (for anime).

I know, honestly. Their old stuff was good *Space Ghost FTW!* but their new stuff is just horrible and not funny. If it weren't for Bleach and FMA, I doubt there'd be an anime block at all.

I'm not that concerned about it, since I don't have cable and I don't watch the dub but... what's with bring back FMA? It's been over for like, what? Two years now? And the newest version of FMA isn't even out in Japan yet. Are they like... preempting for when the second version comes out or something?

Anyway... If I bother to wach the dub, I'll just continue to watch it on AS's website.

AS should just stop running FMA already and just wait for new!FMA. How many years has it been already? No wonder overseas licensees are poor. They don't keep up with their livelihood. It's a good thing I stopped watching this network in middle school because it's a load of FFFFAAAAAAIIIIIL.
