this is different from last week's epi since that was more of a character analysis. this time's more like a blow by blow with often unnecessary comments, only without pictures because i am lazy. more ramble ahead, one that probably makes less sense as you keep on reading.

we begin the episode from where we last left it, at the scene where lulu goes OMFG! nunnally's alive! she asks him if this all for her sake - and lulu tells her that this is all for him. that he'll crush her along with everyone else if she gets in his way.

i love lulu now. at least he's resolved to play his part to the end, to keep the mask on, even in front of his sister - and i like how he and suzaku are not friends, but accomplices. they've gone too far to go back to something resembling friendship. too bad suzaku still has that awful costume though.

i also liked the cc-lulu moment. it didn't feel romantic, more like, i'll be with you until the end, even if noone else will. when you've stained your hands red with the blood of millions i'll still be there, beside you, my hands stained as well. something like that. (fic prompt, anyone?)


next schneizel's master plan and modus operandi is revealed. he wants to establish peace by killing everyone who's part of the war.

cornelia rejects this plan. i love cornelia. she's probably the only decent person left here who has both sense and compassion.

schneizel then snaps his fingers and then some random gun comes out of a statue and shoots her down. in the back!

q: how did the random gun know who to kill? one of the many mysteries of geass i suppose.

CORNELIA - HIME! i mourn thee. you were one of the best GARR! females i'd ever known. damn you sunrise for giving her such a lame ending. i'd have liked for her to survive.  she would have made a great leader.



i so hate Ohgi now. and the whole pregnancy thing was lame. who knew they had enough time and energy for procreation, what with the war going on and all. he's probably going to die though. leave viletta a single mother epilogue.



so gino finally picked a side, eh? sounds to me like a ginoxkallen ending is in the works. anya is.... ? she shows up in the fight, but i think her part was over after the whole marianne thing.


orange-kunxsayoko. new otp? it's nice to see people sticking to their sides, instead of going back and forth, back and forth.

i really, really wished nunally stayed dead. why does she trust schneizel?? i thought she was smart! does she think that because lulu and suzaku, the two people who loved her the most have been lying to her all this time - everyone else must be telling the truth??!

probably the only reason why you're still here is because the producers wanted to show that lulu's resolve was firm, that this really would be his final stand until the end.




WOW, real time chess. i was never particularly good nor interested in chess. i preferred scrabble.



schneizel shouldn't underestimate lulu. and has anyone noticed that lulu likes to manipulate the environment? the sakuradite incident in season 1, that gas thing in the first half of r2 (i forget which gas) and now the sakuradite again.



i want to get to the end already. i can't take this anymore. i'm addicted to geass and i can't stand it.

1. someone's operating it in some hidden room
2. it works by schneizel's thoughts. knowing geass, this one is probably the right one, lol.

what ougi did was great. it was just disappointing to see my former favorite otp reduced to a war cliche (man goes off to war, leaving pregnant lover behind; man most likely will not return home)

I maintain that Cornelia must be alive, we saw one splert of blood and, remembering the fountains we got from Shirley (which didn't exist around cornelia) I'm saying she's A-OK!

Pregnant Viletta is fine, we need more half-castes in the world =).

I did like Lelouch lying outright to Nunnally, for some reson it made me happy. Nuke-Nunnally is still cute.

Anyone notice the Fleija didn't actually do much?

It's all on in the next ep, the majority of the characters must die here.

I compeletly agree with you, and HATE! Sunrise for the lame end they gave her. I expect people to get killed of, this being Sunrise an all, but honestly, they could have given her a much better death than that, I refuse to accept it, so I'm going to believe that she survived.

I'm loving lelouch right now though, for sticking to it even though Nunnally is against him.

According to GG, they've already been restored. Though she's never been about lost memories as it seems clear that she was talking about the gaps caused by Marianne (I meant to write "weren't" ^_^;;). The whole notes on doing things she doesn't remember. That was my impression. Though I guess they might've sealed away some things. Though at this point, she's too minor to really care, so I wonder where they're going with this.

Does this mean Schneizel has a Geass canceller?

Oh, it was hardly the only alternative, which is why it stinks. She could've switched sides, rescued Nunnally, or taken a page from Kycelia's book and killed Schneizel at his most smug.

They went with her hot-headedness and gave her a death that previously befitted Monica. She barely got mid-draw and didn't know what hit her.

Upon rewatched, Schneizel has either genius trajectory skills or Balls of Steel. The shear number of ricochets and the fact that Cornelia essentially played human shield...damn.

Lahkshata and Purple Bunny (my fav) are in the extended preview. They're okay for now.

Though I'm still disappointed in Ohgi for his own "I should've understood Zero the most" bit from episodes past. Ohgi got laid, then he betrayed. Not like he was ever all that loyal, but he persecuted Zero for stuff even he pulled through Viletta. Oh well.

All in all I agree every word you have said here.

I never liked Oghi to begin with and though the pregnancy thingy is lame, it is still exceptable because of the one-month period without activity on either side.

Cornelia was the sole sane person left in the family. Actually ı would very much like to see her become the new ruler of whatever is left of the world. She is clever, has commonsense, compassion... I was wondering her reaction to the erasing of Pendragon with all of their siblings still inside it, and hers was just what I wanted to see... She rocks. Also Schnizel proving himself to be the real sibling-murderer here was as expected. His reasoning is crazier than Marienne and Charles'. They all have issues. Maybe the series will end in a psychic ward? baw.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Cornelia actually survived to come back and show everyone that Schnizel is the ultimate evil here and everyone turns on him, FLEIA-ing his ass into the heaven? I still have hope:D

Seeing that Suzaku and Lelouch so far away from being friends was hurtful, though we couldn't expect any better, ne? I hope they both survive...

Black Knights are really the party who have been used ever since their beginning, then shouldn't it be better if they were more clever? I wonder if they will ever do anything with their free will other than following some royal psycopaths' order to reach a common goal...
