A)It would have been a shitty downer ending if they had it end with half the cast dead B)16-25 wouldn't have been as good if they didn't kill off half the cast.
Halfway kidding. On a more serious note, so long as Orange, Sayoko, Gino, Anya, and the Ashford Crew survive, I don't really care if the rest of the cast snuffs it. Maybe let Kanon live too, so he can mourn the loss of his one true love in epic angst fashion.
I might be wrong, but I'm thinking either everyone or no one. This is either going to kick End of Eva and Zeta Gundam's body counts' ass while maintaining a sort of good end, or it's going to manage to give everyone a bad end despite leaving them all alive.
The guess comes entirely from how I would troll the audience, were I Taniguchi. Since "Nunnally as final boss" came true, I think it's the only way to predict Geass plot tweests.
We need to get rid of geass. I don't see how C.C.'s gonna do that, so I leave that up to Lelouch. In order to do that, Lelouch has to kill C.C. (with a smile on her face). Lelouch goes to the World of C and asks the "gods" to kill him. They do.
I have no real reason for Suzaku to die other than the fact that I still pity him, and him continuing to live would make an awful existence. And as much as I'd love to think that he'd be able to pull himself out of all that's happened, I don't count on that happening. Hell, he'd probably get assassinated before that happened. (Where would he go? What would he do?) Besides, Euphie's waiting for him up on Jupiter. ;_;
Don't really see anyone else dying. They're gonna be the people that rebuild the world that Lelouch, Suzaku, and C.C. have destroyed.
C.C. seems likely, and maybe Kallen. For some reason Kallen had the feeling last episode similar to Shirley before she died, like she's outlived her usefulness. I predict C.C. hands off her code to Lelouch, then he casts himself off into permanent exile. The fact that it's important to Suzaku that Lelouch survives makes it seem to me that Lelouch dying isn't part of Zero Requiem.
Fireworks? It can still be done. Whoever survives will just return to Ashford with Milly's invitation. Because of "Let's have fireworks here again, this time with everybody." It make it hard for everyone who survives to play with fireworks in different parts of the world, looking up into the sky.
I doubt Lelouch or C.C. will die. Probably Suzaku, Kallen, or Gino. If they were going to kill C.C. off I think they'd have done that by now. Even if she gives up her code, that won't kill her. *shrugs*
Well, I think it'd be a better question to ask who wouldn't die. Either way, if Orenji dies (or dies in an undignified manner) I will be sad. I think Lelouch has a death stamp though.
Actually, I just wanted to say this: KAIJI ICON. ♥
An ultimate FLEIA will kill everyone but Suzaku, because his "Live" Geass command made him somehow survive the explosion. Then he lives forever and ever by himself.
Seriously? I don't know. I have a feeling Lelouch will die though.

So I don't really mind the ending, personally.

Everyone who starts another speculation post.

Unless we get a Lockon death 2.0. There's always that possibility.

and I actually don't care if everyone dies, I just want Gino and stupid Suzaku to survive.

I'll be sad if Ougi dies, though. However, I see his death coming clearly.

Or maybe Sunrise may pull off the "tragic hero" persona and maybe have Lelouch die in some dramatic way. xD
