I also assumed similiarly, but now it seems that the timeline diverges much much earlier and much more often. (I think defade said Oliver Cromwell was a hero back in this world) I do think he's Arthur---it fits the whole Lancelot theme going on---but if they're not fiddling with the years it could've been Uther for all we know. XD (I am joking)
