There, Lelouch and C.C. would travel around selling the oranges, but being the Demon Emperor Lelouch - and more importantly, being "dead", Lelouch must never be fabulous again in order to keep his identity safe.
Alternatively, he died and/or inherited his mother's Geass and is now a ghost chilling with C.C. while she talks to herself.
