I still think C.C. is reminiscing about Lelouch who has already past away...I don't know what it'll take to get the fans to stop making poor Lelouch rise from his grave... His end was epic and I would like it to stay like that. I know there's the whole "people in CG do not die" thing, but I really think that's just a trap that Sunrise got itself in. Kinda like the kid who cried the wolf too many times. But this time I believe the wolf did come. You're right, the ending was great because of everything you said. Unless Sunrise is desperate to ruin a perfectly good series but making OVA/Movies of Lelouch being alive, in which I'll go WTF GTH WORST SERIES EVER, otherwise it's a great great show because of this beautiful ending.
