You're absolutely correct. How could I have forgotten about Lloyd's skills? Of course he wouldn't forget a thing like stability. Of course, he could just up the battery power (or.. uh, plug it in), for maximum resistance to all trouble.

The whole mecha side of the story takes on a whole new Freudian meaning when we put in Knightmare Frame plugporn. Er. Pun not intended.

This is why the Lancelot chooses its pilot carefully. Lloyd isn't going to take any chances of catching STDs from his beloved Frame, nosirree. Bet you a hundred bucks that Suzaku's chosen because he hasn't managed to get laid.
