Hope that this is tagged correctly. ._.;

In any case, I was wondering if there was ever a timeline established for the events which take place over the course of the serie- and, if so, would it be possible for someone to direct me to it? Not a timeline of the history of the Code Geass world, or the time leading up to the main plot (such as when Marianne was assassinated, for example), but more something detailing how far apart events take place and the like. For example, it might be something that states that Lelouch became Zero in... say, July, and then Euphemia died in November... that sort of thing.

Apologies for the specific request, and thank you in advance~

Here there's a timeline from From Continue Vol.42
http://atashi.wordpress.com/2008/10/26/lelouchs-lifetime/#more-2642 (only odd thing I could find in it is that Marianne was killed in 2009 and not 2010 (see CG Ep 7)... of course it was always a littl weird that Lelouch, sent in Japan after this, spent there the summer of 2010... it would mean that tecnically it took a lot of time before he was sent there)
As far as I know however Geass doesn't really gives dates apart from 2010 Agust 10, the day of the attack.
You can kind of build up dates around since, for example, CGR2 Ep 5 is placed during Villetta's birthday (June 1) and we know around a year was gone between the Black rebellion and the apparence of the new Zero... also Rolo was already with Lelouch by October 25 2017 (Nunnally's birthday)

I also truly wish there was a better timeline... I've heard the authors didn't want to give exact dates but I've no idea if this is an info from some interview or just a rumor...

You're welcome!
I've been trying myself to rebuilt the timeline but sometimes they're really too vague...

Yep!

No, they definitely can't span a year. CG1 starts in 2017 and shows us the appening of around 39 days (they aren't one after the other so they likely covered a larger timespan). By June 1 2018 Zero had already appeared by a while and it's a year he disappeared so the Black Rebellion should have taken place around May/June 2017. So at best first season covered half a year not more.

You may want to cut this for spoilers (mostly concerning Euphie). I mean, most of us have seen at least the first season, but it would be sad for some poor newbie to stumble across it. ^^

Oh yeah, no prob. It's a fairly early one, so it's prolly not a big deal, but still. ^^
