So I'm loving the LelouchxRolo pairing as of late. X3 I couldn't help but write a twisted little one shot for them.

What Brothers Do

 

“Lelouch?” Rolo asked one day, when it was just the two of them. “What sort of things do brothers do together?”

Rolo blinked when Lelouch slung an arm around his shoulder, pulling him closer so that his head rested on the older boy’s chest. The strong heartbeat just under his ear was comforting – but the hand that moved from his shoulder to wrap around his waist was not. Confused and discomfited, Rolo tilted his head back, meeting Lelouch’s half-lidded gaze.

Lelouch smiled, reading the silent question in his eyes. “This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo immediately relaxed into the embrace.

“Brothers... do many different things together. It’s hard to explain them all...”

On the way to school one morning, Rolo was surprised to feel a warm hand slip into his own. A quick glance downwards revealed Lelouch’s fingers cupped around his own. Frowning thoughtfully, Rolo raised their joined appendages, prompting hesitantly, “nii-san?”

Lelouch smiled. “This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo threaded their fingers together.

“Can you teach me?”

The thought of Lelouch taking advantage of his unfamiliarity with familial relationships never crossed Rolo’s mind. He’d asked Lelouch to teach him the way real brothers interacted, and he trusted Lelouch to do just that. Lelouch never lied to him in the past, so Rolo couldn’t believe he would suddenly pick up the habit now.

But still, even knowing Lelouch had his best interests heart didn’t stop the warning bell that resounded in Rolo’s head the evening his brother kissed him.

It wasn’t... unpleasant. Lelouch’s lips were full, smooth against his own, and Rolo found himself pressing closer to his brother for more. At the same time, however, Rolo couldn’t help but think this wasn’t right. Brother's shouldn't do this sort of thing with each other... Should they?

When Lelouch pulled away he stared intently at Rolo, who blushed furiously and averted his gaze. Chuckling softly, Lelouch ruffled his hair and leaned down once again, just barely brushing his mouth against Rolo’s as he spoke.

“This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo felt tingles all the way down to his toes.

“Of course. What do you want to know?”

Rolo tried to relax, as per his brother’s orders, but underneath Lelouch’s heated gaze it proved difficult to be anything but anxious. The fact that he was completely naked aside from the thin sheet covering his lower body didn’t help matters.

“Nii-san,” he whispered, trembling as his brother’s cool hands caressed his sides. He didn’t want to acknowledge how good the touch felt – somehow, thinking such a thing seemed wrong. Did brothers really do this?

“It’s okay,” Lelouch assured him, smiling, his hands trailing lower, slipping beneath the blanket. “This is what brothers do.” And Rolo melted against him.

“Everything.”

“Are you sure?” Rolo asked, staring at Lelouch, somewhat frightened by what his older brother had asked of him.

Lelouch smiled and wrapped his arms around Rolo’s neck. “This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo slowly took him into his mouth.

“Everything?”

A sharp cry escaped Rolo’s lips, tears welling in the corners of his eyes at the painful sensation of being filled. His back arched off the bed and his hands desperately pushed at Lelouch’s shoulders.

“N-nii-san,” he gasped, writhering underneath Lelouch, who hovered above him, a lustful gleam in his violet eyes that didn’t seem befitting of an older brother. “Nii-san, it hurts!”

Lelouch lowered himself on top of Rolo, ghosting a hand soothingly up his chest, tangling his fingers into Rolo’s damp hair. “It’s okay,” he breathed, pressing his lips against his neck. “This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo tried not to make a sound this time as Lelouch tore into him again.

“Yes, I...”

“Say that you love me.”

“N-nii-san..?”

Lelouch smiled. “This is what brothers do,” he said, and Rolo nestled closer to him.

“I love you, nii-san.”

“I want to be the very best brother, for nii-san!”

“You damned imposter, you still haven’t noticed?! I hate you! I goddamn hate you!”

I honestly doubt if Lelouch would be so lewd as to take advantage of him in that way, even when he was already using him - i.e. I don't think he ever saw Rolo as something/someone to be used in that manner, regardless of how much(or perhaps precisely because) he hated him.

Nonetheless, you write the slashy side of this pairing nicely in all the sick-twisted sense that comes with it. I like how you portray Rolo's vulnerability and I especially like the progression of the lines in italics. They lend an interesting and wistful flow to the piece (it was as if I was replaying a fond memory in between the segments)

What grabbed me most was the very last line. I've never seen Lelouch's words portrayed so powerfully before (did you rephrase or quote from a fansub group? I'm curious xD )and they seemed to jump out at me from the screen, especially when used in contrast with the concluding "I love you" and the last line in italics.
It was, simply put, painful and almost real ):

Honestly, I don't think Lelouch would ever do that either. ^^ What he did in this story was more done with the intention of humiliating him -- or at least that was the idea I had in mind for him while I was writing this.. XP

The last line I just took from a fansub, yeah. Since it's a fansub there's no guarantee those are Lelouch's EXACT words but... I wanted to try and get them as exact as I could. XP

Haha of course they're not his exact words - I doubt the Japanese have a way to say "goddamn" at least ;D
But it seems accurate and apt enough considering the context and Lelouch's emotions/state of mind when he was screeching them.
I only watched gg's subs for most of both seasons you see, so I don't recall his lines being phrased that way :P

Still the way you used it was excellent.

Thanks for the fic! A Lulu/Rolo stuff to make my day. I'm not really into Yaoi but I like any interaction between the two.

Hmm.. so that's your intention. When I first read that last phrase I felt it was kinda out of place. From the beginning, I felt your Lelouch really had that lust for Rolo and just didn't feel shame to show it since Rolo didn't know what brothers do anyway.

Still, maybe it's just me, I think that last phrase is too abrupt a way to end the story.. Maybe if you added some more of how Rolo reacted to that very last words (though we all already know about it), I feel it would be more smooth. Just my opinion. :P

For some reason (a sadistic reason, yeah) I really like listening to Fukuyama's voice saying that line until the "Get out" one. I remember that the translation you used is from Eclipse's sub. I can't decide which I like better between Eclipse's and gg's. It seems Eclipse's is more accurate and has more impact while gg's ("I don't like you, I hate you!") is more beautiful in my opinion.

Yeah, it was a humiliation thing... ^^ I didn't outright state it in the story, 'cause I wanted the reader to maybe come up with their own reasoning for his actions. But the way I imagined it in my mind was Lelouch making sure Rolo was tied completely to him in every way possible and then using it all against him when the time came to kill him.

I do realize the last line is abrupt... but it was intended to be. ^^ I wanted it to go against the "I love you" line of the scene before it.

I haven't seen gg's sub. :O Might have to check it out though, seems a bit different?? lol
