Episode 18 : Kururugi Suzaku, I order thee

After Suzaku became Euphemia's Knight, C.C. proposed Geassing him to Lelouch. He rejects this idea, and led the Black Knights to trap Euphemia in a surprise attack. The Lancelot was deployed in this crisis, but then Lelouch had already expected this, and uses himself as a decoy!

...so is this where people starts realizing LL = 0 or what? I'm not sure if he puts 0 as decoy, or himself as Lelouch.

I'm still screaming "Islaaaaaaand~" as much as zombies scream "Braaaaaains" so 18 didn't really impress me. Except for the possibility where Lulu's identity was known. I KNOW it will happen between 18-20 on a certain person which you probably wouldn't want to know. *is still waiting patiently for the day he chose to reveal himself*

Diethard proposed murder, and CC proposed Geass? Eh...it doesn't surprise me that he rejected Diethard's assasination plan, but he could very well Geass Suzaku and make him quit the army/bring Lancelot or whatever...still trying to hold on to their friendship? A last struggle for Nanaly?

I'm still interested in how his decoy plan will work out, though. But as much as I don't mind Lancelot anymore...a bomb that comes along and blows them onto an island just when Lulu is trying to persuade Suzaku in a beat up Lancelot(also interested in what reasonings he'll use to persuade him) is not really fun. Couldn't Sunrise just give us a...head-to-head mech battle without interferences? It's getting quite repetitive.

btw, someone said that the name of a Chinese Federation Knightmare is mentioned in 17..."Gan Ru"(the closest translation is probably '甘露', which is 'dew', or 'amrita' if you like), did you hear it?

WELL I PLAY IN AN ISLAND RP SO. OH SHUSH. I am having so much fun guessing the ZeroBare. (Pronounced without the gutter, plz) Let me have my fantasies.

The Geass probably presents a line he won't cross. Which is funny, considering he's perfectly willing to Geass a woman he supposedly kinda-almost-maybe loves. Emotional dependency, Lulu, look it up. He's perfectly fine Geassing someone he knows agrees with him, but not when he needs an approval that he's not getting...okay, I should leave personal analyses on my own LJ. *nod*

According to Oukouchi, he said one of the themes is "It's natural if you try your best and not get what you want, contrary to popular saying". So I expect Fate to hate Lulu a lot. Sorry, Lulu. Your battles will never go according to plan, or at least gets constantly interrupted.

I didn't...but I was sick and/or busy for much of the past two weeks, so I didn't really catch? I'll rewatch and get back to you.

DON'T TEMPT ME TO JOIN AS SHIRLEY AND THE LETTER OF DOOM TO MESS WITH LULU'S BRAIN. I HATE YOU. YES M'AM I SHALL SHUT UP. Spoilers never really get in the way of my fantasies because THE FANDOM SUPPLIES A BUNCH OF THEM. OH HOW I LOVE FANDOM.

One of the reasons might be because he values Suzaku's opinion a lot...plus he kind of needs acceptance and such as to what he's doing.*is not making sense again* I think...that he does place means before ends when it comes to people's feelings and such. He is prideful and probably wouldn't feel too satisfied if people agreed with him BECAUSE he Geass'd them...

I never seem to catch those little things Geass slips in now and then.(like the "Laksharta's radiation" line in 10) So I was like "Huh?" when this forum guy said the spoiler about the CF Mech's name was confirmed in 17...but I guess my subtitle is partly of blame. They say that the group translated "Gan Ru" into "Beggar". And I didn't even notice that.

SHOULD I DIRECT YOU TO ZERO-SAN THE HEAD RECRUITER? Well there are THOSE fantasies and there are emo plotmoment fantasies. You know how those are, I think I have around seven variations of Zero Slips Identity At Lone Island going 'round in my head now. OH AND DID YOU SEE THE CRACKPOST? OUR FANDOM IS INCREDIBLE, YAR.

I do think Lelouch is somewhat emotionally insecure. Not in the sense that he emos everytime shit blows up, but that there are a few people he trusts and thusly wants to hear an "It's okay" from them. Justification, we all want it, yup. Suzaku, too. Their pararell is win. He doesn't mind Geassing CC to stay with him at all (granted, she's only recently moved up from his "People are potatoes" pile) because she's not one of those people, and thus her "It's okay" doesn't mean a thing? I don't think Shirley's would've mattered, either, really...

Maybe the final battle would be that way. Unless he's hit in the end by a stray missile. That kind of thing happens occasionally.
